Sparkle Maxx is a concentrated pool water disinfectant. Sparkle Maxx produces and maintains crystal-clear pool water without affecting pH or alkaline balances. Sparkle Maxx works fast to clear cloudy water, reduces sanitizer usage, and works effectively with chlorine, bromine, ozone, and biguanide sanitizers. Sparkle Maxx works as a concentrated pool water cleaning solution to prevent future hazy appearance, will not clog filters, and reduces sanitizer demand by removing dirt particles.
This swimming pool water clarifier does not affect the pool’s pH balance. For best results, use the clarifier 4 to 12 hours after each shock treatment, super chlorination, or algaecide treatment.
Recommended usage: 2 to 3 times a week.

Sparkle Maxx contains polymers that act as coagulants on these tiny particles. When you add Sparkle Maxx to cloudy water, all those tiny particles clump together into bigger particles your filter can capture and keep from reentering the pool.
Note: It’s usually perfectly safe to swim in a cloudy pool. Just keep in mind that visibility underwater will be limited, and opening your eyes underwater may cause irritation. For safety and comfort, we highly recommend skipping the swim until you’ve cleared the water.

Steps Before Using
The process of using a clarifier is simple, as long as you follow this step-by-step process. Here are the 5 key points in using a pool clarifier: |
Remove any algae: Before using a clarifier, you first need to remove any algae growth. No amount of clarifier will get rid of algae! |
Check the pH balance: Now test the pH balance of your pool. It should measure between 7.4 and 7.6 for the pool clarifier to be effective. |
Measure the volume: You will also need to know your pool’s volume to make sure you are adding the correct amount of clarifier. If you don’t already know the volume of your pool, speak to your closest Zyax Pool representative. |
Read the directions and add the clarifier: Finally, add the clarifier according to the manufacturer’s instructions. It’s important to read them carefully, as this process may vary between different brands. |
Run your filter until the water is clear: Once the clarifier has been added to your pool, turn on the pool filter and run it 24/7 until the cloudiness is gone. This can take two to three days, but swimming in the pool at this time is safe after about 20 minutes. |

Use
Dilute the highly concentrated Sparkle Maxx in a bucket of pool water. Pour the diluted product around the sides of the pool and into the skimmer with the pump running. Continue to run the pump and filter for eight hours and then vacuum the pool. Repeat the treatment as needed.
Directions for Use
Read the entire label and use strictly in accordance with precautionary statements and directions. Test and balance water prior to use. Adjust pH to 7.2-7.6 and free chlorine to 1-4 ppm.

How to Use Pool Clarifier
It’s easy to use, but it’s important to follow the correct steps to avoid making the problem worse.
Important: If, in addition to cloudiness, you also have algae in your pool, address that problem first before using trying to clear the water. No amount of Sparkle Maxx is going to get rid of algae.
- Balance the pH in your pool. It should be between 7.4 and 7.6.
- Read the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Determine your pool’s volume, if you don’t know it off hand.
- Add the correct amount of Sparkle Maxx according to your pool’s volume.
- Turn on the pool filter, and run it 24/7 (or as much as you can) until your pool is clear.
- Clean the pool filter.
- Check your pool’s pH level again. Balance it (and all other levels) again, if necessary.
- Get back to enjoying your pool!

Storage and Disposal
Keep this product in original tightly closed container when not in use. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not reuse container, but place in trash collection or offer for recycling. Do not store at temperatures below 40°F.
