How to Use

  • Test the water for Free Chlorine using a CHLORINE TEST KIT.
  • It is recommended swimming pool water is shock dosed after heavy bathing and/or during warm weather to ensure water clarity is maintained and sanitizer efficiency.
  • Ensure bathing has ceased before adding pool water treatment chemicals to the water.
  • Add Zyax Chloro Maxx 90 TCCA 90 granules directly to circulating water with water temperature above 20°C (DO NOT ADD CHEMICALS DIRECTLY INTO YOUR POOL). Add product to 10 litres of clean water in a clean plastic container and add directly to the circulating pool water.
  • To increase Free Chlorine reading by 1 PPM (parts per million), add 75 gm per 50 M3 (11,000 litres) of swimming pool water.
  • A shock dose of Chlorine Shock should achieve a reading between 1-3 PPM.
  • During the shock dose process, always ensure water is circulating via the filter and all pool covers are removed.
  • After 24 hours re-check Free Chlorine Readings and pH levels.

General Conditions

Circulation: Pool water needs to move to disperse pool chemicals and improve water filtration. Stagnant water can create a breeding ground for bacteria and algae growth. Run your pool pump at least 8-12 hours per day during daytime hours to properly circulate your swimming pool water.

Filtration: Pool water must be filtered to help maintain a clean and clear swimming pool. Clean your filter regularly according to your owner's manual instructions.

Clean: Dirt and debris from swimmers and the surrounding environment collect in your swimming pool over time. Empty skimmer baskets and vacuum and brush your pool surfaces weekly. Skim the water's surface as needed.

Test: Testing your swimming pool water is the first toward a balanced pool. Water chemistry can change quickly. Test daily, during peak swimming times, to ensure your pool remains clean and balanced for swimmers.

Maintain: Balance water parameters to their ideal ranges using the proper pool chemical products. Introduce this pool & spa water treatment chemicals as needed, and a pool shock and algaecide for weekly preventative maintenance.
